Music School - Vocal & Performance Technique

Stephen will continue to offer vocal & performance technique coaching into the fall, through Saskatoon's 12 String Studios.

Now splitting his time between Canada and the U.K., Stephen studied voice with Ross Campbell (Royal Academy of Music, London). He graduated from Willowfield Performing Arts College in Belfast, N. Ireland and attended the Belfast Circus School. He was the songwriting tutor at The Fanta Academy of Performing Arts.

In addition to being a vocal & performance technique coach, Stephen is a songwriter and recording artist. His album ‘Irish Soul’ is currently getting radio play in seven countries. Reviews have compared Stephen to Elton John, Joe Cocker and Lenny Kravitz. Touring for the last 15 years, recent highlights include: supporting Grammy winners B.J. Thomas and Nanci Griffith, performing with Ivor Novello award winner John Reid (hit writer for Kelly Clarkson, Keith Urban and Rod Stewart), opening for the Regina Symphony Orchestra and being the guest vocalist on Gemini award winner Andrea Menard’s ‘Sparkle’ tour.

Stephen is currently working on recording and writing projects in Edmonton and Nashville. He has also recorded with Nicky Scott (Van Morrison's former musical director and bass player) and Mark Dougherty (former musical director of Riverdance).
